Activities

Students will have enough skills to write academic essays. Otherwise, they must go over the paragraph and essay writing material provided in Writing Resources.

In class, students will present the assigned or chosen topics in depth.

After class, students will engage in research either at a library or on line, pursuing points that they feel deserve more thought.

Evaluation

Grades will reflect journal and paper writing, participation in discussions, and exams.
